Does anyone have a break-down or diagram or something on how to remove the driver side bed panel on an 01 supercrew? Thanks

 

It's a welded on panel. Not really a job for the regular weekend warrior.

 

Not on the 01-03 screws...they are a fiberglass outer panel over the inner steel, just like the lightnings and stepsides. I was just looking if anyone knew of a special procedure for removing it or not. But ive pretty much got it figured out. Once I get all the work completed I will do a how-to write up for the 01-03 screw guys. Thank you for your input though

 

You neglected to mention that you had a flare side truck. Without that detail, I assumed you had a style side. Style side (or regular) box sides are weld on, flare side are bolted on just like the explorer sport track box sides are.

01-03 supercrew and 97-03 flareside are fiberglass. I have owned both.

I assume they are bonded on to the steel inner bed. Looking forward to a writeup on the repair.
