I have a stock 98 2wd f150, does anyone know the weight of the truck? Full tank , half tank , whatever. I tried looking at the sticker on my truck, but didnt know what number to look at. Please help. Thank you.

 

Your manual will tell you, as will various sites that have Ford specs on them. I have the 4x4, so can't give you an idea what yours weighs, other than it weighs less than mine, and I think stock I'm at about 4200 - 4300 lbs. For some reason, 4280 lbs sticks in my head.

 

Mine weighs 5540 with 190lb me and a full tank of gas. Yours is prob around 5000 with you and gas.

Whoops..should have been more specific. Looks like you have an extended cab. I have a 2000 F150-XLT 4x4, Reg. Cab. SWB. Could swear I'm at about 4,300 lbs...But I could be wrong.

Who cares, I'm heavier than those "fast and furious" rice burners out there.

 

Mine is 4860 with me and 1/4 of a tank. I weigh 160 so my truck is 4700 lbs.
