Bed Question for 05 Screw

I am sure that this question has been asked before but I was unable to find it. I have an 05 Screw with the 5.5 foot bed. It has some damage on the side and was thinking of just replacing the bed. What is a good price for a bed? It seems the yards here ask for a lot. Also, would the bed from an 09 to 11 fit my truck? I have seen some on the road and it looks like they would and even have the same bodylines. If they would, what about mounting points? Thank you for the information.

Look a little closer at the beds, I think the wheel wells are different. Same length bed would probably fit, but wouldn't match the front wheel wells. The 05's are smooth and the 09's have a little indent.

See if you can find a place that does utility and flat beds and you might get a take off a little cheaper. It's worth a try.

Even if you find one the same color there could still be a little variance. Salvage yards usually price these beds to where they can make the most profit and make it just cost effective enough to use over new parts. If you find a cheap one you should Dec check it for damage.

Unless the damage to your bed is extensive enough to warrant a complete bed assembly I would repair or replace the parts needed.

Looks like complete beds in good shape are going for between $2500 - $3500 here in the Houston area.
