Can anyone tell me if there is a way to tell the new revised door form the old door? My dealer told me he ordered a new door (not door skin) for my truck to replace the cracked door. They did nto do the work themselves but sent it to a local body shop that I know nothing about. I am supsicious that I did not get a new door as told. The bottom edge of the door looks like it was painted over where it had some rust before, also I had the door panel off putting in a new speaker and the door did not look new to me. I dont think the dealer is trying to get anything past me but I am wondering about the bodyshop...they had my truck 4 weeks to do this and the dealer was not happy about that either. It goes back in to the dealer in 2 weeks to repaint the roof and replace the signal mirrors that have black spots in the mirrow. Am I being paranoid or should I look into this further?
