I have a '97 F150 2WD without factory fog lights and I could really use some. Does anyone know if the 4WD bumper will fit my truck? I've searched but all I could find was info for the '99+ trucks and they have a different bumper/grille surround shape.

I don't see why it wouldn't fit. Just make sure you get all of the mounting brackets with it just in case it is slightly different.

 

If the 97 f150 has no lights from the factory in the bumper, are the wiring and plugs in place in case you want to add later?

 

The bumper is interchangeable, yes. If you wanted to add lights, see if you have a pigtail hooked up to the body (go under the front bumper). If not, you would have to run your own

 

if you do why not put the fog lights behind the grill. just an option. or even get a bull bar or brush guard and wire lights to that. just another option.
