well i called my insurance. i got a $250 deductible. i called up safelite. the charge $196 w/o the logo and $321 with the logo. warrantied for life on any defects or leaks. i got them comin to my house wednesday. i heard a few good things about them. so il see how they work out.

Word of advise, don't watch them do it. I watched them tear out my 2000 front window for some reason it was hard to watch them turn a small crack into several large ones as they pulled it out

oh ima watch them for if they make any little scratch on the body or the interior, they are fixing it. lol

well safelite came and replaced my windsheild and they did a pretty good job. came to the house, replaced it in 40 min.

i went with the logo. plus the new window came with the factory tint strip at the top..i think they call it a sun visor and it also came with a molding on the very top that my stock window did not have. i mean i had to pay 250 but i got everything plus 2 upgrades...lol

yea i dont know why but 04-07 came with the molding from the factory but they didnt put it on the 08's.

I'm not 100% certain, but fairly sure that PA law requires your insurance to replace cracked windshields for free. I live just outside of Pittsburgh and have always had cracked windshields replaced with no deductible by my insurance. In fact, just a few months after buying my 2008 F150 it got a crack in the windshield and insurance replaced it (with the F150 logo) without any deductible charge. Over the years (I have lived in PA since 1984) my family (myself and two adult children) have had several windshields replaced under at least 3 different insurance companies and have never paid a deductible.

Reali, wow. Well I got state farm, I mean there ok, but for somethings, they just suck. And I got full coverage on my truck. But I'm gonna look into that. Thanx for tellin me

State Farm is who I have and I paid no deductible for my windshield as I said above.
