i dont know if you should sand it first..i think if you just scrub er down really good and get it good and clean,,let it dry really good then you should be able to paint it..i think if you sand it down you would see it through the paint? IDK i havent done it yet but i would think so long as its nice and clean it would stick

Good thinkin, probably have to wait til spring though, mn weather, currently looking at something around 18 inches of snow this week...although, could be some new junkers brought into the junk yards due to the weather...hmmm...I should look at wiper cowels too, the driver side keeps popping up for some reason...

if you sand it be sure to use an extremely fine grit sandpaper. i sanded my grill b4 painting and you can see all of the lines from the sandpaper.
