Well yesterday on my way to work I had a woman cut me off and slam on her brakes and needless to say her car is now a total. I didnt turn out too bad. bumper, valence, pad, left frame horn, left headlight, grill, header panel, and the fender is tweaked just the slightest but i can pull that and it will be fine. So here I am planning on what to do with the front. I heard before about swapping a 03-06 expy front end onto it (mines a 99) but wasnt sure if it was reasonable to do or not. I have also thought about just using a stx or harley valence. Yes it is only 2wd so I am good with them fitting. I was planning on lowering it soon also. Just looking for what everyones opinion was and if they had any parts laying around.

 

I was toying around this idea for a while as well, although $wise it didn't make sense to me (truck is/was fine, no accident, so no insurance $). We were talking a little bit about it in the obs section and also the navigator swap. I think either or would be pretty awesome.

So has anyone looked into doing the expy swap? Im pretty sure it is fenders, hood, hinges(?), bumper, valence, headlights, grill, header panel, fender liners, and obviously all the hardware. Are the rail ends the same? frame horns? Not sure. If anyone could tell me it would be greatly appreciated. Also if I do the swap I will be selling off all the still good old parts so if anyone wants them let me know.
