The 2 bolts (8mm I think) are all that hold the tails in. Also, when I swapped mine out there are some guide pins holding the lights in place while screwing down...those pins break off easily and the light may need a little coaxing off.

1. take the 2 screws out
2. take a nylon prybar and place it between the box lip and between the tail
3.pry out slowly
4.while doing so hold onto the taillight and pull it out towards you
5.undo the bulb housing and the light will be free

The procedure is pretty much what ATOM wrote, but I'd like to clarify by saying to pull the light lens straight towards the back of the truck to release those locating pins he referred to. The bulb sockets are standard 1/4 turn counter-clockwise to remove. All I did was pull with my bare hands. There isn't much wire slack to let the lens hang, so I'd have a towel or rag ready to place between the truck and the hanging lens.
