where can i find another one thats not to expensive i was bare assed new ones with no hardware are like 130 bucks and i dont wanna look ghetto with a diferent colored one from the scrap yard

 

If your hardware isn't completely ruined I would just swap out with the new one. Otherwise you could that is if you even come across a tailgate from the junkyard that isn't the same color, paint the tailgate.

yea my hardware is perfect, i just dont wanna spend 130 for a new one then about another 100 for paint, guess ill try my luck at finding one that matches lol theres like 6 junk yards around here gotta find something even off of a superduty will work

 

I would check with bodyshops too. An '02 f150 in a junkyard is gonna be hard to come by.

well i believe a 97-03 will be the same tailgate, i know theres a 97 or 98 in a junk yard i was thinkin i could just get that tailgate and get it painted at my college for cheap since we have a auto body class and they always need something to do lol
