window Wont roll up

I loan my truck to my dad for a half hour...and when he got it home..he told me the window wont roll up...i tried it and you can hear something moving up but the window is not closing..i took the 2 bolts off the bottom of the panel and the panel still dont want to come off....Would anyone know what is wrong or how i can fix it....Starting to get fed up with this truck...One Problem after another..

Need a little more info - Power or manual windows? Assuming power, if you pull on glass at the same time as you power closed the window, does it move?

I just replaced the passenger side regulator assembly yesterday - hardest part by far was getting the door apart... Maybe 2 hours work, total, and the first hour was getting the door tore down.

No worries... If you don't mind my asking, what did a regulator cost you? I paid (taxes in) $315 here in Ontario; with a $45 core charge. Seemed like alot, but none of the parts places I talked to could get an aftermarket one for an 06...

Also noticed your sig - you on the job (FD?) - so am I - volunteer at a rural dept north of Toronto...

I've been (half-assed) trying to go full time for a few years now - but once you hit 30, get's to be a tough fight... We are a pay-per-call dept; rather then "true" volunteers. Plus I have a pretty decent "day" job already - the pay cut to start as a probie would hurt bad.

I'm with a rural department near Barrie...

Stay Safe - Laz
