98 F150 bumper removal

I am new to this forum. Lots of good info so far. Can anyone direct me on how to remove the front bumper on my 1998 F150?

You'll need a 13mm wrench. There are four (4) bolts on the left and right brackets for a total of eight (8) bolts holding it on. You can easily remove 6 of them, but to get the other two, you have to bend the plastic tab under the grille shell to gain access to them.

Make sure someone is holding each end when you have only 2 bolts remaining. It weights about 30 lbs.

This may differ if you have foglights. If so, look for connectors or just unlatch the bulbs and leave them dangling.

Hope this helps. Ask if you need more clarification
