I had a deer run out in front of me when I was coming home from the farm. Except this deer was stupid. it figured it'd get a head start racing me, by running down the road in front of me....Slowly. I slammed on my brakes and hit its rear end, knocking it over. I was so mad. While I was stepping out of my truck to give its face some impact therapy, it got up and limped off real fast. It left a dent in the center my upper bumper, but I got it pushed out. Stuff like this, makes you wonder if deer do it on purpose, just cause they know it P's you off, and you cant claim insurance from them.

Well make it look like you hit it a little harder! Go out to the country side where no one is at often, look around for a nice tree or hill to bump into slightly with a thin blanket or cloth so you dont scratch the paint, giving away the fact that the damage was increased some more. If you want a new grill, its highly possible!

Deer

You got lucky! When I bought my ' 03, I was living in Colo. and I only had the truck a week and BOOM. She came out of the trees in the dark and stepped right in front of my truck. I had the cruise set at 65 and didn't have a chance to hit the brakes. $3800.00 bucks was the toll and I didn't even have license plates yet. My insurance agent told me they get about 30 to 40 claims a month for deer strikes. Good luck with your truck.

Bob

i hit 2 deer at once in my last vehicle, the first one ran out in front and hit the passenger front side and the second one hit the passenger side. messed my cousin up a lil and the vehicle but nothing too horrible and then a year later i hit another deer and it bent the frame..

I know alot of people say deer whistlers don't work but ever since I put them on my truck the deer either stay frozen in their spot or they run off in the other direction...

in my jeep wrangler i had a very close encounter with a nice looking buck....

slammed my brakes on after getting over the crest of a hill and seeing 2 deer in the road.... went from 55 to 5 mph just quick enough to just tap the deer with the front bumper, he looked at me, and ran off... shortly after i bought a grill guard

Well guys, i go tmy truck back.

I am NOT satisfied with the work.

In the paint, i have three little spots where it looks like little nats flew into the wet paint.

That's gettin re-painted, also- does anyone know how to adjust the bumper height?

Mine is no longer sitting how it used to.

let me know, thanks!
