Does anyone know where you can get a factory door handle for a 2007 F150 with the key pad only? Had lock punched out and want to get rid of key.

 

Just how do you plan on unlocking the door if the battery ever runs down?

 

Easy, put a wire on the battery and hide under the truck. How many times has your battery run down? Trucks are getting the locks punched out far more times than the battery running down. I am suprised that no one else has encountered this problem,and are seeking a repair. My friends with F250's have been putting the rear handles on the driver door and this stops the problem. My dealer said that the F150 rear door handle will fit but you loose the key pad. I have ordered two handles and I am going to see if they can be modified to get rid of the key hole.

 

You can jump it to the wire on the starter motor. Dont start it this way but use it to make the keypad work. Mine got broken into. Im going to get a piece of lucite and put the alarm light behind it in the keyhole.
