Washing my car this weekend I noticed a small rock chip/gash, on the front of the roof line. It looks like the center is a little rust dot. Can I just put some touch up paint over it? or will I have to *gulp* sand the rust off, I just cant bring myself to sand on a brand new truck.

Any advice is appreciated.

 

it may just be rail dust etched in leftover from the transport. do not sand or touch up paint it. go to the care and detailing section, and research on how to use the clay bar.
