painted bumpers

My qestion is have any of you guys painted your crome bumpers,or do they mhave them allready for my truck?(1997 f150 4x4 4.6)Iv tried the search but cant find anything on it.If I was to paint mine how would you take the crome off?

I swapped my chrome for painted ones (wrong color, but paintable) and then had them painted to match.

What did it cost to have your bumpers painted? I have painted bumpers but there are multiple chips in the paint and rust starts to develop. I would like to have them repainted.
