I just received my fx2 grille in dark grey i want to paint it black satin and i tried to remove the emblem (oval ford) but i dont want to break it so does somebody have a little trick to take it off without break it.

Take off both nuts on the back of the grille insert that bolt it in place from behind, and PUSH with a flathead screw driver right through the center. Stay committed to it, and don't be afraid...... pops right off.
