Bed Cover

I have heard that a cover on my truck bed will increase my gas mileage a little. Anyone have an idea how much? Is it worth the cost of the cover?

they claim about 8%, i had a cover on mine (removed b/c it's a work truck) and i didn't notice any worse milage without.

For me to save gas i need to drive like a grandma, and loose my lead foot

heres where i read the 8%

They say it does, but its been shown that the amount of gas you save having the cover is offset by the little weight it adds, so it doesnt make much of a differance-but they are worth there money to have anyways to keep stuff in the bed and dry
