Thank You!

Just wanted to say thanks for posting this info.

This was the answer to my dilemma. I was looking for a way to find an affordable method of installing a reverse camera on my truck and I was really hoping to find something that would take advantage of the tailgate handle similar to the one offered from Ford. Anyways, I took your advice and tried to do the same as what you recommended for my FX2 and amazingly... it worked perfectly.

So... thanks for the advice.

Looks similar, just be careful it can't be too wide or else it won't fit.

how did the camera attach to the handle? did you fab some sort of bracket or glue it in place?

Do you know if this part number will fit into the place of a 2004 FX4 tailgate handle?
