Lightbulb custom mirror ideas.... check it out..

ok so i was thinking,, and i kno you all.. at least i do, love the 250 and up newer mirrors, (the ones for towing that extend, and have the neato little orage led thing, and have two mirrors built in..) ya..

welllllll... heres my ideas..

option1:
some how fabricate a set of those mirrors to work on the 150's, IMO they wouldnt nescesarily have to actually be electric and all, but for sure the lights on the ends, and actually look like they were for the 150.

honestly.. i think its something that should be done, either by ford, or someone wiht talent and enough time.

option2:
right now i have the stock crappy non electric mirrors, and was thinking about getting the electric ones and puttin them in... the main thing, is there is a thing that they sell on ebay and such, which is a bar that has i think 5 LED's in it and i acutally had them in white, and used them as strobe lights. well now they have them in amber (orange) and instead of only having the strobe option, they have the option to just stay lit. so my idea is to (with fiberglass) put the on the ends of the new mirrors (the stock ones for the fx4's, lariats, king ranches, etc.) and mold around it kina wiht the fiberglass. and make it look liek the f250 and 350 mirrors how they have that little light on the side of them. and then also wiring them so they work when you turn on ur blinker, or ur running lights, (the amber/orange ones up front or along with ur over cab lights.) etc.

personally, i think it would be a awesome but nice and unique mod.

let me hear your thoughts on it.

its a good idea and people like it, but not many will risk losing a mirror just to try to create something that takes alot of work and talent messing with fiberglass

They were supposed to be available from Ford sometime this month, I think they run about $175 a piece though.
