Rust on underside of truck

I was looking looking in my truck bed and found a spot that was almost rusted right though. We I looked under my truck there seems to be quite a bit of rust on the various parts. The body has no other rust on it.

What can I do under the truck to prevent more rust damage? Oil under coating every year? Or should I take a wire bush and paint with Tremclad?

I live in a area that uses salt in the winter but the previous owner wintered in Arizona.

First get rid of all of the rust, use the stuff that I used in my gallery, and a screwdriver. Then patch the holes, and use the bed liner in my gallery as an undercoat. This is what I did, and it worked out awesome. I will post some pics of my undercoat, the pics in my gallery are just of the rocker panels done.
