new body style winshield molding

I am an auto glass installer. I have just replaced my first windshield in the new body style f-150. Can anyone tell me a good way to remove the side moldings on these things. the molding starts at the cowel panel and continues over the roof, is made from a very thin metal and bends very easily. I have been doing installs for 13 years and have never run into a molding like this. the clips break and the molding just gets destroyed while trying to remove it. any suggestions on how to remove it or a site that details the removal would be helpfull. Thanx

I had to have my windshield replaced early. Probably one of the first done. I did not see them pop the section offthe windshield portion, but when reinstalling the roof section, they couldn't get it to go into the groove until they tried sliding it in from the front. Then it went right in no problem. I did see the plastic clips for the windshield section, n ot much to them.
