stock hooks on the 97 4x4 are below the bumper. Attached directly to the frame rails.

Thanks Adrian and Lsu. Hey Lsu, I see that you have the Dueller A/T Revos, how do you like them? I just got mine 2000 miles ago and I love them.

I use the Dueller A/T Revos as my winter tires. Work wonderful even on my 2wd. Haven't had any problems even here in the snowbelt.

I loved them, I had about 35,000 on them when I traded my truck in. I think they would have easily went another 20. If my new truck would have had the same size rim I would have got the dealership to swap tire's. Now I'm stuck with these horrible continentals for a little while.
