I have a 98 F-150 XLT 5.4, although only the year is relevant to the question. Other than the little dip down in the middle of the grill surround, what are the differences between a 1998 grill, and the 99+ grills?

Reason I ask is the guy I bought my truck from gave me a 1999 surround & grill, and I put it on my truck but I'm not 100% sure it fits correctly. All the screw holes line up and everything else, just seems to be a few little gaps near the lights and stuff.

Oh and a side note, the truck has a lightning bumper on it and doesn't look right with the 1998 surround which is why I replaced to a 99+ surround so that it would fill the gap.
