Hey everyone--
I just turned 16 and my parents bought me a red, new, 1999, ford f150 with extended cab. my problem: the gate will not open! it's stuck fast, when u turn the key, it doesn't open! any ideas?

The simple motion of turning the key won't open the gate... that simply engages the locking mechanism.
You have to pull the handle to open the gate.
If you've tried pulling the handle with the lock in both up and down and side to side positions, you may need to remove the panel that covers the handle. Unfortunately, I believe this can only be accomplished with the gate lowered.
