If i remove the trim (2" wide chrome plastic) from my 1992 F-150 Custom, how will the paint look underneath? How do i remove the trim? Since my truck has the usual rust along the bottom of the body i would like to sand it down put some rust preventer on it and instead of painting it i want to install stainless steel rocker panel covers. I think it would look weird with the chrome stripe 4 inches above the chrome rockers. Or would it look ok? Anybody have pics?
