Question nerf bars and leveling

I have a 99 f150XL reg.cab LWB. I am wondering if it will look ok to level it "just raise the front up to even it out?" and put on nerf bars. Any suggestions? orion613@earthlink.net

I think it would look just fine if you leveled it out. I like the looks of the trucks that have had that mod done. I haven't got mine done yet, but it's on the ever growing list of things to do. The two most popular brands that guys here use are Autospring and Daystar. When I do finally get around to leveling I'm going with Daystar.

I prefer the looks of a nerf step to that of a platform step. Appearance wise they look much better IMO, and aren't too costly. As far as suggestions, there are a ton of manufacturers. A lot of guys like Westin. I had Ford factory nerf's on my 99 and have MAAP Challengers on this one. If you want something somewhat inexpensive and that appear to be well made, take a look at Cabelas brand nerf steps, www.cabelas.com.

Good luck and oh yeah, welcome to the site
