Post TIE DOWNS?

Does anyone have any info on upgrading the "existing" tie downs in the corners of the bed?
Thanks!

Question

Upgrading from what to what?? I have a 99 as you can see from my signature (you may want to fill one out so everyone will know what model f150 you have) I had the old "boat cleat" style, and put the newer "D" style on mine. My neighbor just brought home a 2001 XLT and I noticed they now come with the "D" style standard. The newer style cost me about $12.00 from the dealer.

------------------
99 F-150 XLT 4X4, SC, SB, AT, 5.4, Single CD
3.55LS, Tow pkg, Rhino Liner, Sportsman topper,
Westin black double step bars, Custom gold pinstripe, Bright Red/Gold,
Honeycomb grille painted to match truck, Gold front valance and rear bumper covers (both from Eddie Bauer
Expys)

Maybe Kerlinger will come back and tell us which hooks he is asking about!! The ones "in" the bed or the ones that a body can install "on top" of the bed rails-- we gave him an answer on both -- This place is great!!

Thanks again

Question

The "D" style is still used like the boat style if you know how to use them. It is a marine knot.
Look different but work the same. I'll trade someone for the true boat style as they would do a better job.
