Got this off fabtech's website. Anyone know if that is just a regular bumper but painted entirely? If this is so, will a work series bumper be paintable like this? Also does anyone have anything that looks like this?

your chrome bumbers may be painted also, they just need to be primed with zinc chromate primer after sanding.

 

Yep,that's a factory bumper. I've seen that picture many times,and it's still one of the best looking F-150s I've seen anywhere!

hey guys ,i want to get my lower bumper painted just like that one on that awesome lookin white F-150 , but i was told that my it could not be painted becasue it was , and i quote , "textured". i know it can be painted ,but why would a body shop tell me that it couldnt. maybe they didnt feel like doing it , who knows.

Are you sure that bumper's factory? The truck has an aftermarket grill and the rear bumper appears to be chrome. I've seen some factory models with painted front and rear bumpers.

 

Go to Silvers' web site,and go to photos.
Then click on the "front of truck" pic. They are identical,except for the white truck has all of the bumper painted. Sorry
Silver,just had to use you as an example.
It was the easiest way to find the same bumper that quickly ,,,,98

Had to take the picture out,it was way too out of date,,,,98

 

I am positive that that bumper is stock. It is identical to mine except mine is black.My lower valance is that grey color (for now) and has stock foglights. Any *good* body shop will be able to paint the textured lower valance.

 

I wonder what that lower valance would look like if it was painted the same color as the lower body color on a two tone truck. In my case, the upper body is white and the lower is gold.
