Question HELP!! PLEASE!! Slider Window Question!

Are these factory sliders hard to install -- The 96's and earlier just sort of popped in place (according to my brother) ! Do these or do they have to be sealed (with searer) and glued in place ? Can someone with a better than average mechanical ability do it? I am thinking of switching from a factory fixed to a factory slider. Thanks for the help in advance!!

If you look around the inside edge you'll see that it is bolted in. I would think that the sealer used on windshields would need to be used.

On the tv show TRUCK'S on TNN about a year or so ago they put in a power slider on a 99 Ford. All they had to do was remove the back pannel and then the bolts holding in the window then put the new one in and bolt it back up.
