While I was driving thru my local dealers new lot, this weekend, I noticed that some of the new Expiditions come with a gold/tan lower front valance (thing under the front bumper). Does anyone know if these will fit a 99 F150? The look the same just looking at it from the front. I really like the color of these and feel they may look better with my gold lower two-tone paint. Should fit just fine. No real changes from 99 to 2000, but the front end assembly was changed in 99 from the 98 models so it will not fit a 97 or 98.

 

I think the Expys I was looking at were 2001's -- still ok?

The grey one is the same part for the effies and Expies, so I would imagine the tan would be also. Call your dealer and have them look up the part numbers for each... they should be the same, I think.

List of planned mods: Clear corners and tails, CB wiring, Stainless brush guard, at least 1 set of KCs (probably more!), custom radar detector mount, color matched trailer hitch with stainless steel ball, torsion bar tweak, bug deflector, spray in liner, and a tonneau of some sort...

 

I am pretty sure it is the same rough finish as the gray one.

The Expy I checked out on the lot had the same textured finish, only difference was the color. Doc

Does the new lower valance have the same bumpy finish as the grey ones or is it smooth like the gold on top of the bumper?
