HELP on bumper upgrade
has anybody put a 4x4 bumper on their 2wd, and do you have pics f the upgrade.
I am trying to buy a 4x4 bumper that will fit my 1999 2wd f150, bt all the used part places in my desert towm ( Imperial Valley ) dont know what will fit my truck...
this is were all you guys come in....... "has anybody switched bumpers from a 2x4 bumper to a 4x4 bumper, and is there any pics"
WHAT YEAR OF 4X4 BUMPER FIT MY 1999 2X4.......

Being that your truck is a '99 (as well as all '99-up trucks), the only difference between your 2x4 and a 4x4 bumper, is the lower valence. The center, or "main" bumper component in shared by both 2wd and 4wd. If you want a 4wd valence, I have one off off my '00 4x4 (tow hook holes, but no fog light holes) for sale. Let me know..... Doc
