need a bed

I need a good website that I can go to for f150 body parts and hopefully a bed (used, all). Any ideas?

Don't know about a website, but why not try one of those places that converts new trucks to phone and gas company use. I know that they remove the beds and sell them.

WMCELWEE,
I actually know of such a place I used to pass frequently. It was an insecticide company that put spraying rigs on the back of their SWB F150's to go out to farms. I can remember passing by it when I couldn't count the number of brand-new white SWB styleside beds sitting outside. I assume they eventually sell them. If you'd like, I might could find out their name and number for you. They are in Alamo, TN. I didn't notice where you live. If that doesn't work, most salvage yards that deal in late-model vehicles keep racks of truck beds. They probably want a pretty penny for them, though. Let me know if you'd like me to find out more info. Later.

Many of the newer vehicles are ordered with utility beds on them and thus, you might find a few of them out there....

I know that immediately next to the Super Duty plant here in Louisville, there are two or three companies that do nothing but outfit vehicles for construction and such... the plant ships them the trucks WITHOUT beds so that they can do this...

What I would suggest is that you check your local junkyards.... also, you may try Torrie at Ford Parts Network. www.fordpartsnetwork.com torrie@fordpartsnetwork.com

wmcelwee,
Well, I may have to take my own advice. I guess "I" don't have to, but my buddy called me last night and told me he had just backed his '98 Nascar F150 into a pretty serious pole and messed up his rear bumper and bed. We had just put the new bumper on it a few weeks ago from a previous accident and now it's ruined. Anyway, now we (he and I) are looking for a nice 6.5' styleside bed. I saw one briefly on Ebay last night, but it was an 8' box, and it was at $400. I'm guessing a salvage yard is going to get $700 to $800 for one in good shape, and then he's gonna have to have it painted. And then we have to replace the black-painted bumper.
By the way, does anybody know if Ford still offers the 1998 Nascar bed decals (the checkered flag design)? He doesn't need the tailgate piece; luckily it survived. I appreciate any help. Thanks.
