Mud-flaps on Flairside
I've noticed that all flairside PUs have the mud flaps. Can they be deleted when ordering? And if not, how much work is involved filling the holes that are left when removing them after the fact?
when they put the bumper to bumper running boards on they just cut my mud flaps off. you can still see the top half of the flap still screwed to the fender. i prefer to have mudflaps on to keep rocks out the taillights and tailgate. now i need to find some that will fit.
If U lower UR truck like I did 5 inches and live where it snows. U will nees to cut them off a little bit. I removed 4" from mine. If U don't do this U become a snow plow at all four wheel

Speaking of mud flaps... I've got a spare mud-flap sitting around here.... it's a right side rear mud flap off a 97 flare-side bed. I think it will fit all flare-sides to current, but I'm not positive on that. I ripped off the left rear when I had my 97 and had to buy them as a pair, but I've had an Explorer for the last two years and it's just collecting dust now. Anybody interested?
