Angry Break in attempt

Today someone tried to break into my truck by popping up the trim around the lock / handle. They didnt get in because I believe the lock fell into the door. (I havent had a chance to look yet). Anyone have ideas on how to prevent this in the future?

Shave the door handles put in electronic locks and solenoid door openers. Removing manual locks and just using the electrics,
;weld the handles in place so they're more secure.or install an alarm with pepper spray or step away from the truck warning system or or or maybe a 20000 volt capacitor hooked up to the door handles.

Sorry starting to get carried away there.

If a thief wants in he will usually find a way, a simple loud motion alarm and warning sticker usually work.

I understand your point. It was my understanding that this was an easy way to break in. I thought maybe someone hand come put with an aftermarket product that would make it harder to break in this way.

Of course if I make it harder to break the lock I suppose a hammer through my window would work too....
