Would there be any problems swapping parts from a wrecked 99 F150 to a 97 or 98 F150? Ive heard the doors and glass are a little different on the 97-98, as well as not having the PATS system and the short exhaust.
I recently bought a totaled 99 L and was looking for a cheap truck to transfer the Lightning parts to, so I figured 97 model, V-6, 5 speed truck with over 100k miles would be ideal and cheap.
Has anyone ever transferred almost everything from a 99 or newer truck to a 97 or 98?
