need info please

i have a 97 lariat with the honeycomb grill. i'm looking at an insert for a 99. is the opening the same on a 97 and a 99? this insert attaches to the present grill on the 99 and up. thanks for the help!

I'm almost certain that 97 & 98 are similar but 99 + up are different.

The 99 is different and requires a 99 bumper to fit properly.
