Angry Almost no sound coming out the rear speakers in my '03 Screw

Do the rear speakers suck, or is the HU configured to put 80% less power to them. I'm not joking, I can put the fader all the way to the back and it sounds like someone stuffed a pillow between the speaker and the door panel. The fronts I have no problem w/ at all. They could make your ears bleed if you so desired. I would appreciate any and all advice/thoughts. Thanks!

Voice coils are OK......

The rears are putting out full range, but MUCH quieter than the fronts. Does anybody know what Ford put in the front and rear doors (2 or 3 way) and what size?

My rear speakers were like that in my 03 Crew. Really muffled. I replaced all the speakers with polk 6x8 with a RF amp and also the head unit. Im impressed with the sound. But then again I guess anything is better than stock.
