Just Completed my project
I started with a Pioneer DEH-P7400mp about a month ago, then put Pioneer 6x8's in the front and rear 2 weekends ago. Then, this last weekend I put in a Pioneer 300 Watt amp and a downfire subbox from subbox.net, with 2 Pioneer 10" DVC subs. I am really excited about the whole set up, I am already loosing hearing! I chose Pioneer based on past experiences and name/quality. I know that Kenwood and Alpine make really good stuff too, and I know that there are better amps, and better subs, but I am not that picky, I don't listen to the type of music that needs thunderous bass, and so I just stuck with Pioneer. Good luck in finding something.

Nakamichi CD 45z, not very flashy looking but excellent sound. I have Cerwin Vega "Vega" 5.25" componant speakers up front, Cerwin Vega 5 x 7 -3 ways in back and an 8" sub. A 400 watt clarion amp for the speakers and a 300 watt amp for the subwoofer completes the package. A 5 disk music bank from Nakamichi is the next addition.

dragonsm - you are going to love that deck!!! I have the 7893 and it sounds awesome!!!! Been waiting for the Alpine XM receving unit to drop in price - word is XM Radio is having some financial troubles and with the intro of Sirius, I am hoping they will lower the price on equipment to attract more customers. Good luck on the install!!

I'm running a Pioneer AVX7300 DVD with an AVM 8000 Processing unit. 12 Disc changer, Rockford Fosgate speakers, Fosgate Amps, and a Fosgate Capacitor. The picture sucks, all the amps, and changer and such are custom mounted under the back seat with two brushless DC motors to cool the components. Everything is protected by an Avital Avistart, with battery back-up, in-the-cab back-up siren, and paging system, along with microwave intrusion detection.

2 weeks ago today, I installed a Kenwood cd-x959. Love it! I created a CD with 8 WMA CD's on one disc and it plays them all in perfect quality just like as if I had a multidisk changer installed.
Kenood also just released a 20GB hard disk drive that will store all the major formats. Looks like I can install my complete library of Shanana!
Looking at the subbox.net bos for my Screw. Anyone have problems with this box other than old shipping issues?
Thanks,
B

I don't have any personal subbox.net experience, but I seem to remember some posts about the boxes having less airspace than subbox.net claimed. This wouldn't be a problem if you knew up front and planned your system accordingly. Search around on here and you should find alot of info on their boxes.
BTW, welcome to the forum!
