Just ordered my Visteon Mach MP3 player! :)

sorry I forgot all about this thread!
Yes I am still happy with my purchase, I've ripped and burned all the CD's I would regularly listen to and seperated them by category (got a CD for country, CD for soundtracks, CD for jazz, etc.) so now rather then having to carry my 48-CD holder a simple 12-CD holder does the trick just fine.
The reason that it probably is listed as not working on the 97 is you need the converter, which you can purchase from radiosandmore... the connectors are different.

The stock black Mach MP3 is available. Ford uses it as an option on some Rangers. I found one at my Ford Dealer. I was going to order one from my radio shop until I found out they wanted $140 more than the Carbonium. So I ordered the carbonium. They wanted $495 for the OEM black. Visteon sent me their part # for the OEM black:2L5T-18C815-AA(which is a black bezel MP3
radio). I'm going to attempt to post a picture of it that I found on ebay that sold for $280.
