i have a 2001 F-150 Regular cab XL 4.2v6. i was wonderin if anyone knew anything about the over head console that comes in some of the other models. could i put that console in mine, and could i mount a tv in that console to flip down? sounds like a good idea, but i haven't had a look yet cause i have none of the parts. let me know what yall think.

why dont u just get a in dash screen like from pionner with a dvd player built in , and all u have to do is buy the brain ... thats what im gona do , if you want to do the over head unit , i belive you just cut out small holes and get thoes clips that have threding on 1 side and then run the wires to the side or maby fallow your wire for the dome lights

 

I have the pioneer in dash DVD/LCD. It is sweet. I would definitely recommend it. Make sure that whoever installs it does an excellent job of securing it

i wanted to buy an overhead console or maybe now a floor console and mount the screen in there. i am poor. so now i'm prolly not doin it at all. i really see no reason to be doin it all.
