Audio control module

Hey everyone, I’m new but hear goes. I bought a used 2012, F150, Eco-Boost, runs great and looks good. I have had the truck for 8 months and am happy with it. Hears my problem. The radio and sync went out. The clock will flash on every once and awhile. The compass and temp still work but nothing else does. I took it to my local Ford dealership and had them look at it. Ford says it’s the audio control module and they can fix it but Parts and labor will come to roughly $1,500. If I replace the module will it work or does it have to be programmed to the truck looking for options any help is greatly appreciated.

They quote you ACM, or APIM? Thought there was a warranty extension on the APIM's? Either way has to be programmed to vehicle. Dont know if Forscan has options to do that or not.
