radio display issue

radio display issue

hello, I am new here. thesis my first post

I have a 2008 F150 super crew 4x2 with 5.4 motor


I have. an issue with my. radio. I did. the soldering and the display is brighter back to. normal. and I. also fixed. the. brake light indicator on dashboard too.


my question is

whenever I. press gently. the display went off and always. comes back on whenever I let. go

Please Help!

Bad solder joint. Go through and do a reflow.

I did. that and Iit did the job and now everything is working like it came out of factory

that's good to know that they can be repaired. out of the 4 fords that i own, 3 of them have some sort of radio button issue lol

what did you solder--my rdio display is dark and the brake light is on. Brak Pedal feels soft. I just bought this very high mileage f150 2008--so don't know what to expect brake wise
