Hey all !

I have a new fx4 coming soon and am looking for opinions about the Sony audio system that it will have due to option selections. Pros.cons and any recommendations for replacement systems.

Hi Allan, I am somewhat of an audiophile and my truck has the Sony My Touch option. I find that the max volume is reached far too soon. It says 700 watts but is no where close to the volume and quality of my 2004. I am searching for a way to override the system...I may be missing something but will keep experimenting for now.

You will need a processor look at the JL cleansweep or the KICKER ZXDSP1

 

I removed my sub from the box, installed 1/4 of a 1lb bag of poly fill and reinstalled speaker and the bass sounds ALOT better now. But I'd agree that although I think it sounds good it doesn't nearly get loud enough.

No, not yet. I didn't feel like spending a thousand bucks on a new processor. This truck has disappointed me in many ways...should've kept my 04
