Noise with New System

I just finished up a 2-month sound system project on my 2006 SCREW and I noticed a little issue. I went with a Sony XAV-72BT HU, Infinity speakers (components in front doors, 3-way in rear) in all four doors, and a Kenwood 5-channel amp. I noticed some "noise" coming thru the speakers when my efans turn on. It only happens when the fans turn on. It may get louder and the fans ramp up but it's pretty cold here right now so they aren't working too hard. What I'm hearing doesn't have anything to do with engine rpm. Any ideas on how to get rid of or isolate the sound from the fans?

Are your RCA's on the same side as the amp power wire? If so the RCA's can pick up noise from other electrical components and should always be run on the opposite side from the power wire.

Power wire and amp remote are on passenger side. All speaker wire on the drivers.

I had the same issue, found out my ground was weak. Make sure you use bare metal for a connection. Anything with paint may give you trouble.

^^^what he said... You'll need to go through and re-ground everything to include your e-fans.. If that doesn't work you'll have to go with a bigger ground wire...
