Custom BT mic location ?

Looking for any ideas as to where to mount the mic on my new Pioneer bluetooth unit. Going to be adding this to my AVH 4200. Along with a back up camera to the OEM tailgate handle.

Thinking of hiding it somewhere instead of the usual A Pillar spot that sticks out like a sore thumb..
Unit should be here on Thursday so im not sure what the mountaing capabilits are since I dont know what the mic actually looks like..

Before you actually start cutting and drilling on anything, place the mic there temporarily and test it out. I have a Pioneer F700bt, and when I had the mic on the steering column cover, it was too close to the speakers for the noise canceling do pick up me clearly. I moved it about a foot farther from the speaker, and now it works great.

I decided to just mount in the pillar using the clip it brings and be done with it. It works great. Have had no complaints.
