CB install pics

Please share pictures of your CB install. If you have the center console of a 09-11 I would really appreaciate the pictures then but any model year would be great.

Trying to figure out where I'm going to put mine (Cobra 29) when my FX4 Screw gets in.

Thanks.

We are very limited for install with the center console, So I installed mine in the console itself. I like it and when prying eyes look in to to see what radio I have worth stealing....They see nothing.

I hadn't thought of actually putting it into the console like that. It's clean, I like it.

I built this console to put my cb in. I haven't wired the antenna to it yet because its still in the mail on its way. The console was easy to make and I have been wanting to make it for a while. All it is is wood rapped with carpet that I got from Autozone(for free ftw) I will take a before picture some time and another at night so you can see the lights.

I had already taken the CB out but you can see the wires on the transmission hump.

Next out came the seats and console.

Mounted the bracket and CB to the cup holder.

Notched the console with a sanding drum on my Dremel.

Pulled the COAX and power wires under the carpet.

Reinstalled the console.

Thanks, there was more going on in that install than just the CB I was also installing a Whelen 12 head mini strobe bar, switch box and detailing the interior in the process. I have also come the conclusion that I can't do anything the easy way.
