Cb Antenna Help

Cb Antenna Help

i whated to know if this is a good cb antenna setup. A 4ft firestik and a firestik stake-hole antenna mount. Using a cobra 19 ultra 3. And do i need a SWR meter.

That might work good. Around my area most of us run either 102" ss whips with ss ball or trucker mirror mount on toolbox. We also run the magnetic wilson antennas. The decision is all in the purpose of the radio! We are running galaxys/connex/superstar/etc.,which have numerous high lo bands and some of us run amps. Checking the swr isn't a bad idea, if its off with a firestik or a whip you can either add or remove a washer from the antenna.

firestics got that screw up top 2 tune. you have a good setup in mind. def get swr tested...even with a 102..its all were u mount it and swr has 2 be perfect to have a nice setup. but yeah u got the right idea
