Depends on what all you want to deaden and how many layers. Depending on the product, you may have to layer to accomplish the same task. I started out just doing the doors. Then I wanted to do the back wall. Then the roof (biggest difference maker and worth the effort). Now the floor.

Like I stated earlier, the eDead was cheaper, but I had to layer it, cutting into the cost savings with time/labor. Out of all of the ones I listed earlier, I liked the Stinger Road Kill the best.

30 sq ft should cover a good portion of that truck.

I hope this helped.

Really? That's the only part of my truck that I have not done yet. I assumed it would make the least difference. What did it cut down on? Wind noise, vibrations, ??

You will really be surprised on how much doing the roof will help. On my other car I did everything but the roof but after I did do it you could notice a significant difference. Worth the time and effort to do it.

And for Oneshot I would go to Second Skin audio and buy the 36 sqft of Damplifier Pro. Worth every penny. I do agree with the Stinger Road kill being amazing, but it is very expensive. I will have to say though that it is worth looking into. But if you are looking into saving some money go with the Second Skin.

I was going to go with SS regular damplifier and getting 50 or 60 sq feet. Anyone here have a reg cab who did there truck? Need a good estimate on sq feet I will need.

I would say 50 sqft would cover pretty much everything. A 36 sqft pack got a really good amount of my car the entire trunk, rear deck top and bottom, and all 4 doors. If you got 50 sqft you could get the roof and floors done as well.

For a reg cab I would say 100 sq ft. It took 65 sq ft for just my doors and the back wall. Add the floor and roof and you need a ton more.
