If you looking for something decent just make sure you get a 1/2 line kit and not 1/4.

You can but it all depends on what kinda pressure switch you have? if you have a pressure switch rated at 120 psi your PS is actually a like a 80 psi and a 150 is like 120 and so on so if you hook up 1/2 line to a small compressor it's going to work it's *** off and shorten it's life dramatically because of it duty cycle.

and also you wont get a lot of air with only a 1 gallon tank, maybe 1 good honk then it keeps refilling the air and burns the compressor out quick

Think of it this way....would you rather breath through a straw or a garden hose?

1/2 will be must louder and better sounding than 1/4 line. Just go with the Hornblasters kit, its a great quality kit and will last a long time.
